767 "Queen II" One of the top Queen II rarities. EARLIEST UK FIRST PRESSING. Has reversed/corrected matrix numbers. Side Black matrix: YAX 4735-4U (4735 is lined through and corrected below with 4736). Side White matrix: YAX 4736-4U (4736 is lined through and corrected below with 4735). This cover is the earliest first press WITHDRAWN cover. It was withdrawn soon after released and radically changed. The inside cover is golden (changed to bright white on reissues) and the front cover band portraits are noticeably pink in color (color lightened and changed on reissues). Has the patent logo with the words "1974 Trident Audio Productions Ltd." at top of Side Black, but not at top of Side White. Original NM record sleeve is plain white with 'Made in Great Britain' and Patent Nos. 1 125.555 printed at the bottom. Inside top cover seam has 3 inches that have become unglued; bottom right inner seam of gatefold also unglued (easy fix). Otherwise, perfect cover and perfect record.
